You and the Outdoors: A Guide to Pursuit

Are you a Hunter or enjoy fishing? In order to continue to pursue these species there are certain things and tactics that should be known in order to get better.

Whether it was learning from Grandpa, going out with friends, YouTube( Like how I learned) or just going out and using the trial and error method, we are constantly learning.

This learning never stops after you shoot your first animal, or even catch your first big fish, and below are five twitter feeds that will encourage and show the pursuit of these species within the United States, and in some cases specifically Washington.

Inclusive to everyone, and showing off success will get each and every one of you out to continue chasing the sport you may have fallen in love with!

  1. The Sportsman Channel:

The Sportsman channel is a great feed to follow because it shows the success of hunters all across the country. From Monster Bull Elk, to all Species of Deer, to Grizzly Bear, to Predator hunting they continue to show that anyone can go out and pursue these animals. Some of the time it is celebrities, sometimes it is normal people like the rest of us. Either way you will get the motivation to get out and hunt when you see some of the animals that these people get to harvest.

  1. Next is Kuiu Clothing:

This is an account that specializes in a specific brand of hunting clothing. If one is unsure what the best gear and camo patterns to wear are while also learning about hunting and the different aspects that go into it, as well as the time and effort it takes to take certain animals this is the account for you! While focusing on bigger more exotic animals this brand can help point people to the right direction! Kuiu is a great brand and does a lot for the hunters!

  1. Justin Wolff: Owner of Angler West TV

This account is not dedicated to hunting but all things fishing and is the owner of Angler West TV! Sharing what goes on out there for every species you can imagine is a great place to learn different fishing spots, techniques, and is based on How To’s. The best part of this is their youtube channel specifically. I myself have learned so much about fishing over the last so many years just by following these accounts. Whether it is trout fishing, panfish, bass, tuna, salmon and like stated before any species you can think of Justin Wolff and Angler West TV show the steps on what to do, how to do it, and how to ultimately catch more fish.

  1. Meat Eater: Steven Rinella

Meat Eater Founded by Outdoorsman Steven Rinella is one of the biggest followed sports channels out there. Having many books, social media accounts and even a Netflix Series this account gives links to videos and information about everything outdoors. It is mainly dedicated to Hunting, however there are fishing tutorials, and many other outdoors related activities. It shows the journeys of this hunter and his friends and will give a step by step on what to do to make you more successful. I have learned many tips on my hunting and fishing, as well as how to process your game. There are even cooking tutorials at the end of each episode that show the process of taking this game from the water or field to the table. I have personally met him and he is a great advocate of conservation, and continues to give insight to Hunters and outdoors people all over the world!

  1. Randy Newberg:

Randy Newberg is the Hunter one should follow if they want to witness all sorts of cool information and videos when it comes to hunting. Newberg is one of the biggest conservation pushers when it comes to those who hunt and record it. He produces a YouTube channel and twitter accounts to let hunters follow his efforts at conservation as well as taking game. Specializing in Montana ,New Mexico and many others it is definitely worth following!
