Traffic!

porcarojohn

This week I am going to take a break from the outdoor posts, and focus on improvement. Throughout the last few weeks, I have been given tips by a professor at my college (CWU) on how to improve traffic to my site, and blog, and some of my other media accounts that I am connecting this all from. Sharing and getting the word out is how I have continued to try and get traffic to all my posts. Directing more towards those who are into the outdoors, and the activities that are touched on have been one of the key factors.

Some of the tips I have utilized are posting fun interesting topics that connect to what I am trying to show have been one of the biggest. Changing privacy settings so more people will see this, and following people in the same world as I have also been very helpful. Proofreading so followers are not losing interest is also a big one. Making sure my posts are not all one big run on sentence will keep people in tune to what I am posting without losing interest. Catchy and fun titles as well, are big. If you go to a site and the title looks boring, I will 10/10 not recommend reading it. Speaking for myself of course, this is a big one for me.

Moving forward I am going to continue trying to reach out to those in these fields. As well as using feedback from my peers in this class, and my professor. I will continue to try and post interesting topics, and content that even non hunters, or fishers will enjoy reading, or those who are new to the sports that way they can learn!
